The App Whisperer is a modular performance that keeps changing. It's not a fixed piece, every version grows, breaks and mutates out of the last one.
Depending on the moment, the space and the current state of the work, I add or remove instruments, devices and objects. The whole thing is built around one task: trying to open a portal.
The portal isn't only a sci-fi image. It's a way of thinking about performance as something that can only happen live, in the present. Through sound, movement, self-built devices and instructions, the body and the machines start working on each other.
So it runs on instability and attention. Failure, repetition and improvisation aren't accidents, they're the material. The piece is never finished, it just turns into the next version.
